Reviews For The Apothecary Knows Best
Great chapter! -P.G. Author's Response: james might just try something like that eventually. He probably wouldn't win, not unless he tried to buy off the judge, but Harry would probably have a lot to say about james doing such nasty things. Thanks!
I must tell you, I really do like what you've done with the story and I think the universe is intriguing. Thanks for the good read! -P.G. Author's Response: Yes, he's really being an idiot here and not realizing the damage he's doing to Harry. Thanks and hope you like what comes next in this universe.
While I personally dislike reading cp scenes, I think you handled it with finesse and made it sound appropriate to the behavior. Nice job, Snapegirl! -P.G. Author's Response: She did really try and that's why it hurt her so much when she found that James was cheating on her, both the first and second time. It took a lot of courage for her to admit their marriage was a mistake and to then leave with Harry and even greater courage to start all over again with Severus. As for the CP scene, I usually don't like writing them too graphically, but in this case it was necessary to the plotline and I'm glad I didn't turn you off.
Author's Response: Thanks! Hope you enjoy the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks and you're right on all counts.
Author's Response: Oh that's not good! But you're right.
Good job on this chapter! I really enjoyed Remus and his little family. But - where's the rest of the story? *whine* Yes, it's a shameless plea for more. :) Author's Response: We really went for an AU pairing here but we think it works really well. More has been posted and we hope you like it!
Author's Response: Yes, he does. It would be poetic justice, LOL!
I must say, I've never thought of co-authoring a story with another writer, for the sole reason that it seems to me extremely encumbering to take into account another's views and ideas where my brain-child is concerned. :) But... you've managed to recreate the voice of the first chapter wonderfully, and there's no disparity between the writing styles. I applaud you on that! Good job! :) Author's Response: Thanks! It's a comliment that you're so excited over this. Thanks so much! We collborated a lot when we wrote each chapter so they meshed properly. Luckily, we have similar styles and views. It's actually more fun than work.
I truly admire your knack for portraying, ah, typical people. (I don't mean it in a bad way.) To incorporate character traits that are, well, typical - common, if you like - to large masses of people into fictional characters, requires good observation skills, not to mention 'a way with words'. ;) And it's done brilliantly here - I can totally picture the family drama. :) Very promising beginning! Author's Response: Thanks so much! I agree, James could be classed like that and also as a man who doesn't appreciate a woman who likes to work. Hope you enjoy the family drama that's going to happen very soon. |
