Great chapter. I'm really intrigued by this. You wrote Severus very well in this chapter, and I'm interested to see if he pursues the cause of those scars on Harry. I can't wait for the next chapter.
Good story. I'm glad you took up this challenge == I always hated this scene in canon. Kind of felt that Harry really wouldn't have been so foolish as to cast an unknown spell and I was always angry that Draco got off scott-free.

What was especially funny was Filch prodding Malfoy with his big toe...I could honestly see that:) Too funny.
In the meantime, it looks like quite the development for Harry and Severus.
Yipeeeeee! An update! Great chapter. Of course you weren't, he goes around trying to beat students! When does Snape figure out about the abuse? And I expect/demand some mollycoddling, no matter how much Sevvy protests!

That was really good but whatwas that mysterious spell that hurt Harry's chest? OUCH. Good job.
Oh wow!! I can't wait for the next update. I assume that what Snape has noticed is scars from perhaps abuse at the hands of his relatives.

Great chapter! I am enjoying this story a lot. It's a really interesting idea and there's a lot of potential here. Severua was very in-character, and I"m glad he noticed Harry's old scars.
