Reviews For A Dangerous Game
Author's Response: Well, they got off easy at least. Hee Hee Poor Dudders!
Author's Response: Oh thank you. I thought that the Dursleys got waht they deserved too!
-P.G. Author's Response: The abuse part was hard to write, but I had a lot of fun turning Vernon and Petunia into farm animals. I just thought that Moody is crazy enough to do something like that, and Kingsley is the voice of calm reason, with his deep, soothing voice. I find Kingsley sexy in the moviies!
I think that you are exactly right about Dudley. I'm sure that that was flashing through his mind. How horrifying to see your own father treat your family that way, and ever since the incident with the Dementors, Dudley has really been doing some soul searching, and not liking what he's seeing. After all...he's done some of his OWN abuse towards Harry, hasn't he?
But Harry needs to work on his lying skills...he's pretty bad here. lol Poor kid. But thank goodness people came to save him! Vernon's such an arse. >_< But yay they're taking him to Hogwart! :D I'll have to go on now as I'm curious. Great chapter! Author's Response: Aw!! You have a donkey as a pet? Too cute. No, Petunia is definitely not as cute. Your little Jenny sounds adorable.
Harry is not a very good liar at times, that is true. I'm glad for once that his rescuers can see through them though, so they can take him away from there. Yep, they're taking Harry to Hogwarts...but for how long will he remain there? Hee hee, mysterious, evil chuckle.
Author's Response: Yeah, I could just picture Moody in the movie, turning to Shacklebolt and saying with his thick accent, "Relax laddie," and then taking a swig of his scot from his canteen. Oh yeah, the Dusleys are improved. Animals are higer up on the kindness and compassion chain, then those worthless relatives of Harry are.
Things will get better for Harry, but it's going to take a little time. Being with Snape is not going to be easy.
Yay, Harry's been rescued from that horrible place and now hopefully things will be better for him, but I have a feeling it won't at first if Snape is involved. At least he'll get his injuries healed, and they'll force him to eat. Author's Response: Hee hee. I couldn't resist. I didn't want anything really horrible to happen to them, because then Harry would feel guilty again, and I woldn't want Dudley to suffer because of what his parents had done, and he would be upset if Moody had of really hurt them. I thought that this was a fitting punishment, not physically harmful to them, and not permanent.
Yeah, Harry definitely needed to be out ot there, and things can't be any worse for him, can they? But, yes, it's almost as if the poor boy will go from the ketlle to the frying pan! But yes, he won't be beaten, and he'll be forced to eat properly. Healing emotionally will take a little longer though.
Author's Response: Well...the order showed up because Dumbledore sent them there, but yeah, it was good timiing and they just knew by looking at Harry, that he wasn't well. Dumbledore sent the order members there for a reason, which you'll find out soon.
Yeah, Vernon deserved that and a lot more. I worry about Dudley too, but their condition will wear off in a few days; it's not a permanent condition.
Thanks Jan. Yes, Snape is going to discover just how "pampered" the little prince is, and then he's going to have to do a lot of self-examination of his own feelings towards Harry, and his own treatment of the boy over the years.
Author's Response: Yes, Remus is sweet. I love how gentle and kind he is, and he always genuinely cared about Harry. Thanks Angel. |
