Reviews For A Dangerous Game
Author's Response: Thanks so much.
-P.G. Author's Response: Aw, but Dumbleydore has plans, within plans doesn't he? The greater good and all that... But I really do think that he wants these two to put aside their differences, and he really does care about both of them, and he is very old and although positively barmey, he is brilliant! He knows things about this potion that Harry doesn't. Also, he knows how much Severus loved Lily, and that with just a little push, that maybe he'll care about her son as well.
Author's Response: Mmmm...thanks for the yummy cookie.
Dumbles is a master manipulator. But he really does want the best for his "boys", and he knows that if Harry and Snape can let go of their hatred for one another, then they'll make a great team--maybe even more.
Thanks Ivy. BTW, what kind of cookie was that?
Author's Response: Yeah, not the greatest start, but hey Rome wasn't built in a day, was it?
I have to ask if you meant the Semper Purus spell to literally translate as of pure blood because right now it translates to always pure. Of pure blood is sanguinis puri or pure blood without the of is sanguin purus. I guess I'm on a Latin kick today. lol. Author's Response: Ooh, you are a Latin expert? I should have asked YOU for help!!! I looked it up on the internet, which doesn't always give the proper translations. Well...I guess it could go both ways. I kind of did mean it that way, but also would hae like to have it translate your way.
I took it from the doctrin of purebloods and the Black family lineage. I forget where I got the phrase, but I think that they refered to that.
Maybe I could ask your advice in the future? I've had a few stories or instances, where I needed to translate into Latin, or vice-versa.
Voldemort's plan is so eerily and evilly clever. It's a scary thought to think of him with his invincible Death Eaters by his side, isn't it? Thank goodness Severus was the one to be necessary for the plot's success and that he is secretly working to sabotage it. Loved Remus, he's so gentle with Harry, but I have hope for Harry and Severus' relationship too...I hope. Harry does need to see that Severus is not to blame for Sirius' death, and Severus needs to admit his own misconceptions about Harry too. Author's Response: Yes, Dumbledore's idea is brilliant, but outrageous. I really hope too that Harry and Sev can make a little headway eventually, in their relationship.
Voldemort is so evil, and slimy, isn't he? What's really scary is that Voldemort's plan is just a little too close for comfort to Hitller's plan to create a perfect race. Very scary. I'm glad that Severus is there to sabotage it as well.
I really love Remus too. It was really too bad in Canon that he could never take Harry in, because of his furry little problem, because he really is a good guy. You are right, Harry has to stop blaming Snape for Sirius' death; the only one responsible is Voldie.
Snape has to see that Harry is not the boy that he thought that he was, and he will eventually. |
