The plot is moving along rapidly. I don’t envy the Malfoys right now.

I wondered when Voldemort would demand the potion. It's just a matter of time till he realizes that it was not correct.

Oh wow! While I'm pleased that Severus and Harry seem to be getting along fine, I'm NOT pleased that Narcissa and Draco were tortured. Poor Snape! To be torn between the two worlds like that! That would be terrible. And to give such a potion to the babies? That's just wrong. Poor little things...but this was a very interesting chapter. I enjoyed Remus putting some sense into Harry's head! Another great chapter Pandora! :D

    Author's Response:

Aw, you are so sweet Ivy!  You reviewed every chapter, and wrote such a brilliant chappie yourself. Well done.

Yeah, it was awful that Voldie tortured Narcissa and Draco. It IS awful for him to be torn like that, and Voldemort has no conscience at all, does he?

Remus is coming around to see a very different side of Snape, and he wants Harry to see that.  Thanks again Ivy.

Oh, wow, Pandora! I'm glad that Severus and Harry have been able to slowly come to terms with one another and that things were going more comfortably for them. But then you pull the rug out from under us! I'm glad that Remus was there to care for Harry, and that Severus brought him there. It shows how much he really has begun to care.

Severus is so brave, carrying on the ruse with Voldemort, knowing that he's going to discover it at some point...wow, that's courage!

Poor Draco and Narcisssa. That would have been so difficult for Severus to not be able to interfere. I actually felt bad for all the kids in a way. They can't help the families they were born into, and I bet none of them really has a good idea of what they're getting into.

    Author's Response:

Evil chuckle. Sorry Kristeh, just had to do it.  I thought that having Remus there to care for Harry when he regained conciousness would be a nice touch. It shows that Snape is putting his animosity for the Marauders aside and thinking about Harry's health and welfare.

Severus IS brave, and I've always thought so. Even in Canon, Snape always was so brave, but unfortunately, he never got the recognition that he deserved.  Very sad.

Draco is a product of circumstance, isn't he? Severus really wanted to intervene in Voldemort's punishment toward Narcissa, and especially Draco, but it wouldn't have served any purpose than for Voldemort to become suspicious, and possibly harm Draco and Narcissa even more. I think that Narcissa and Lucius got sucked into the whole Pureblood is best wave of thinking and had no idea of the long term consequences, and what kind of future that they'd be subjecting their son to. The really love Draco, and would do anything to protect him; they dearly regret their choices now, but it's too late to turn back time, but Draco is still young and can be saved.

Hooray for Severus being concerned about Harry! I'm starting to hope for a happy ending...I could be wrong though. For a while, I had a sneaking suspicion that Severus would die once Harry had finally come to accept him as a guardian. I think I'll be upset if it happens now--I'm growing rather fond of this Snape.

    Author's Response:

    Aw, c'mon, I love sappy endings. I can't resist.

You don't honestly think that I'm that evil. Even the EDQ wouldn't do that!! Yeah, I'm fond of old Snapey-poo too. (Please don't tell him that I said that!)

Nice idea to bring Remus in. Maybe he can help those two see each other for what they truly are, not just a 'greasy git' and 'Potter's spawn'. Though I guess they're slowly coming to accept each other, aren't they? The idea of 'concerned Snape' made me chuckle, though. :)

    Good chapter.

    Author's Response:

Remus is always the voice of calm, isn't he?

Concerned Snape seems impossible, doesn't it? But alas...anything is possible in the land of fanfictiondom!

    Thanks Ramelia.

I hope Harry isn't too hurt. Crashing is never good, but I'm glad that Severus contacted Remus to stay with Harry. It shows Harry that Severus is thinking about Harry's best interests and wants.

It seems that Voldemort hasn't figured out Snape's treachery yet, and I just hope he escapes the meeting unscathed.

    Author's Response:

what bad timing, isn't it? For Harry to have a vision, as he's flying recklesslessly around on his broom. Crashing is never very good, especially head first.  Snape is starting to care for Harry, but he'll never admit it out loud.

Volide hasn't figured it out...yet.  I hope so too! I love my snarkey Snape.

How could ANYONE even a deatheater allow that to happen to their children!? *shudders*

    Well written though!

Author's Response: I think that they're too scared to go against Voldie.  Thanks.
