Reviews For A Dangerous Game
Author's Response: Yeah, poor Harry. Have faith. Snape is going to start seeing Harry very differently soon.
Author's Response: Yeah, not the greatest start, but hey Rome wasn't built in a day, was it?
Author's Response: Yeah, I could just picture Moody in the movie, turning to Shacklebolt and saying with his thick accent, "Relax laddie," and then taking a swig of his scot from his canteen. Oh yeah, the Dusleys are improved. Animals are higer up on the kindness and compassion chain, then those worthless relatives of Harry are.
Things will get better for Harry, but it's going to take a little time. Being with Snape is not going to be easy.
Nice chapter (the Dudley part of it, that is). Hope things will get better for Harry soon. Author's Response: You know...that scene with the Dudleys always stayed in my mind, and gave me hope for Dudley. I know that I'm not the first to have a remorseful Dudley, but I just had to include that in the story. I really believe in Canon that 'Dudley had an epiphany; he realised that Harry is a good person, and very selfless. I think that Harry saving him from the Dementors really had an impact on him; made him grow up and really examine his own culpability.
Petunia does tend to do that, doesn't she?
Thanks Ramelia, and I'm looking forward to your next chappie of Blame it on Dumbledore. Things will get worse before they get better for Harry...but fear not Snape and Harry will eventually learn to understand one another...and maybe a lot more.
Author's Response: Well...it's always darkest before the storm, so Snape won't change instantly, but between the potion and the blood adoption, he'll get a little push in the right direction.
Author's Response: Aw thanks. Oh...you'll have to wait and see, like about fifteen minutes or so! :)
Author's Response: I agree JA, but I had a deadline to finish the story, so I didn't have much choice but to speed it along, but when I wrote this, I thought to myself that I'd like to write a side-story, or a sequel to explore more of Harry and Sev's growing relationship. I couldn't do that in eleven chapters, but perhaps in a side-story, I could fill the gaps in-between.
Thanks very much for your compliments, I didn't mean to make you cry. You need some of Angel's tissues I believe, or perhaps your very own box?
I had to totally laugh at the line Severus was threatening to make Harry write. I can just picture Sev trying to sneak out of the Hospital Wing multiples times during the day. I really enjoyed this sweet story, Pandora. Great job! Author's Response: Thanks Ella. At least Harry feels loved and cared for. He'll never forget Sirius, and no one could replace him in Harry's heart, but now he has a father that really will look out for him.
Harry hasn't had very many great birthday's, so he really deserved to have a great sixteenth birthday.
Yeah...Snape would not be a model patient now, would he? I could just imagine Poppy threatening him too! Hee hee!
Thanks Ella, and I'm really looking forward to an update from you too!!
Author's Response: Aw, I wouldn't do that to you, would I? (Looks innocently around)
Naw...I'm not THAT evil. I like happy endings, after all. But to get to that point!! (Evil chuckle, and maniacal laugh)
It seems that Voldemort hasn't figured out Snape's treachery yet, and I just hope he escapes the meeting unscathed. Author's Response: what bad timing, isn't it? For Harry to have a vision, as he's flying recklesslessly around on his broom. Crashing is never very good, especially head first. Snape is starting to care for Harry, but he'll never admit it out loud.
Volide hasn't figured it out...yet. I hope so too! I love my snarkey Snape. |
