Reviews For A Dangerous Game
I'm somewhat worried about Harry's latest plan, however. It sounds like he could easily put a civil front up for Snape and not really allow himself to feel genuine emotion for him. I hope that doesn't happen. Author's Response: Sometimes it seems like they're taking one step forwards and two step backwards, but evntually they'll get there.
Harry is numb and confused right now; he's not thinking clearly. Things will change as he sees that Snape is making an effort and vice versa.
Author's Response: LOL! This is Snape we're talking about. He can't go a minute without thinking about rules!
Well..time will hopefully make things better for them.
Author's Response: Harry needs lots of hugs right now, and I have a feeling that he's really going to need a lot of hugs in the future. It IS a bery big decision. Snape is going to need some major attitude adjustments here.
Author's Response: Thank you Tambra. Things WILL become clear soon, but the motivation behind it, may not!
I have to ask if you meant the Semper Purus spell to literally translate as of pure blood because right now it translates to always pure. Of pure blood is sanguinis puri or pure blood without the of is sanguin purus. I guess I'm on a Latin kick today. lol. Author's Response: Ooh, you are a Latin expert? I should have asked YOU for help!!! I looked it up on the internet, which doesn't always give the proper translations. Well...I guess it could go both ways. I kind of did mean it that way, but also would hae like to have it translate your way.
I took it from the doctrin of purebloods and the Black family lineage. I forget where I got the phrase, but I think that they refered to that.
Maybe I could ask your advice in the future? I've had a few stories or instances, where I needed to translate into Latin, or vice-versa.
Yay, Harry's been rescued from that horrible place and now hopefully things will be better for him, but I have a feeling it won't at first if Snape is involved. At least he'll get his injuries healed, and they'll force him to eat. Author's Response: Hee hee. I couldn't resist. I didn't want anything really horrible to happen to them, because then Harry would feel guilty again, and I woldn't want Dudley to suffer because of what his parents had done, and he would be upset if Moody had of really hurt them. I thought that this was a fitting punishment, not physically harmful to them, and not permanent.
Yeah, Harry definitely needed to be out ot there, and things can't be any worse for him, can they? But, yes, it's almost as if the poor boy will go from the ketlle to the frying pan! But yes, he won't be beaten, and he'll be forced to eat properly. Healing emotionally will take a little longer though.
Vernon is evil. Like Harry would chose to have horrible nightmares that leave him screaming. Ugh. He needs a big reality check. I feel for Harry. He's in a no-win situation, and I hope somehow soon he'll get some productive sleep. Author's Response: Yeah, Dudley to the rescue! It's about time that the poor boy sees how horrible his parents are. Even Dudley deserves better parents than that.
Vernon has never had any compassion, has he? For that matter, Petunia is Harry's flesh and blood, and allows Vernon to mistreat Lily's son. How awful.
It is very hard for harry; he needs a break the poor kid.
Ugh, Dumbledore is guilting Severus into doing whatever he has planned and I just hope that once the situation becomes clear, Sev won't take out his frustration at following Dumbledore's orders on Harry. *hugs Harry* He needs a big one right now. Author's Response: It's very difficult for Harry to lose the only father-figure he's ever had, and yes Dumbledore is really asking a lot of him. But don't worry, it might just work out better than Harry ever thought possible, and Harry will be richer for it.
Naughty Dumbledore. He's pulling Snape's strings like a puppet. Snape may resent Harry at the beginning, and yes, take out his frustrations on him, but eventually Harry will win him over; after all, Harry is a great kid, with a big heart.
He really does need a hug, the poor dear, doesn't he?
Author's Response: Aw well, you would not be able to guess it or even believe that the man has the nerve to ask Severus such a thing! Let's just say that Voldemort's goal is eerily similar to that of Hitler and his nazis. Very evil indeed.
I'm glad that Ron and Hermione are so supportive for Harry, and were able to help him see things objectively.. Great job again! Author's Response: No, they're not, but it's just going to take a little time. Yes, it's going to be a difficult adjustment, but you are right, I think that it is Hary's best chance for survival, and I think that it is going to be good for Snape too. Maybe, he'll soften up a bit.
It would be really nice if they could be a family, and perhaps Voldie will be vanquished eventually.
Ron and Hermione really care for Harry, and I really think that they'd go along with anything he wanted, as long as it was going to be in Harry's best interest.
