Reviews For Of Scarlet and Emerald
Author's Response: LOL, well thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Aww thanks for reading! Yeah, this story (though it's taking forever and a day to write) is dear to me for that reason.
Author's Response: Hey there, Thanks for your review. Yeah, I know there's only four houses at Hogwarts, but on this site, where you make your profile, there is a section where you can state your house and the choices are: "unsorted," "Gryffindor," "Slytherin," "Hufflepuff," Ravenclaw," and "Alumni (which means they've graduated)." So to award each person, I'm doing the points that way. <smiles>! :-D
Great chapter! Author's Response: Hey there, Thanks for reading and reviewing. Yep, I agree with you about the stairs, they were an "accident" waiting to happen even without the "help" they got...Yep, Severus saved the day (and Harry!) You're very correct when you say that Harry cannot go back to the Dursley's, he'd never last there. I'm sure Severus and Poppy will step in. :-D Thanks again! -Autumn
I don't know I think Harry might freak out a bit cause that adds to another thing that'll make him not normal...I hope he gets better T_T I feel so bad for him. ARG SEVERUS I thought you had an uber awesome memory! At the moment it's only awesome lol hurry and remember!! Still loving your story! Please update when you can! ~Fairner PS when I was little I always thought breaking you neck = dead but I grew up and learned the bone is there to protect the spinal cord which is what uh makes you dead? Wow your sister is wow but her neck still must hurt at times cause of the scar tissue? Stay warm autumnamberleaves's sister! Author's Response: Hey there, Thanks for reading and reviewing! Yeah, I don't like it when magic is treated as "cure-all," so I wanted to add some real-world "stuff" in there. I'm sure that Harry will freak out, I'm certain that anyone would. Yeah, I think everyone thinks that breaking your neck equals automatic death sentence, but sometimes it doesn't. It was rather scary with Heather (I didn't know this part at the time as I was only ten and they wanted to keep me happy-AS IF-I SAW HER!-but they had given my sister a 1 in 100 chance of living (really low!) and a 1 in 1,000 chance of walking again (extremely low!) You know what- she walked again not even two weeks later :-D I don't know if coldness bothers her neck, she never complains about anything, but if it does she doesn't let on. She's the strong one and daredevil of the family. Thanks again! :-D -Autumn
Author's Response: Hey there, Thanks for reading and reviewing, it means a lot to me! Yeah, I have a bit of flair for drama, though I thought it would be pretty realistic given that high. :-D Yep, Heather is 100% ok now, the only time she has ever let on that her neck hurt was when we went on a super-jerky rollercoaster and that particular one made MY neck hurt so I could only imagine how her's felt. She never complains about anything though. :-D Actually the only "lasting" damage she had was oddly that her left hand lost motor control for a while. She's a lefty but with mom who is a lefty as well and me (I'm amdexitrous) we got her back rather quickly. My older sister helped too but was more afraid of things then I. (I think even mom would have freaked if she knew I tied Heather's right arm to her bed and threw small soft-squishy balls at her. I also helped her relearn to write, but after that, she was as good as new. :-D Thanks again!-Autumn
Great chapter. Thanks for the update! Author's Response: Hey there, Thank you for reading and reviewing, it means a lot to me. Well, Harry is paralyzed but it remains to be seen if it's totally permanet or not. You are onto something with your theory about someone jinxing them. I'm sure you can figure out who by a couple clues in chapter 3. Great job! I thought that the stairs should have safety spells on them to, but I don't think in cannon they did and even if they do, with your theory...I'm sure the right person could undo them...who knows. Thanks again! :-D -Autumn
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. Good job on the guessing. I can't say if it will be permanent but it's a major part of the story to get the ball rolling so to speak. He's paralyzed from the waist down. Thanks again! -Autumn Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. Good job on the guessing. Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm going to try and post asap, I need to work out some issues in the next chapter, but it's pretty much planned out. :-D -Autumn
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm glad that you liked it! :-D Yeah, Severus saved the day (and Harry!). I'm planning out the next chapter and then I have to write it, it shouldn't take too long though. :-D Thanks again! :-D -Autumn |
