I'm really enjoying this lovely story, Autumn! Love the green mittens and how they meant so much to Harry. Despite being a small, seemingly insignificant thing, they represent so much more for Harry, the kindness and hope that has enabled him to survive his miserable childhood so far.

I was so upset with Ron for burning the mittens, and I still am, but I am glad that you showed Harry remembering their first meeting. Ron has his faults, and he certainly behaved badly over the mittens, but he has goodness too, and I hope that he will come to realize how wrong he was, that he truly hurt Harry, and to feel remorse over it.

And yes, that is a horrible cliffie! What a terrible accident...I do hope he'll be all right.

    Great chapter again!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, it means a lot to me! I'm glad you get the thing about the mittens, such a small thing, but vastly important. You'll be seeing more about that later. I'm glad you liked the bit about Ron and the mittens. Sorry about the cliffie, but it won't be long (perhaps a week) before my next chapter is posted. I can tell you this, Harry will have a looong recovery. Thanks again. :-D -Autumn

Great story! Aaah, but how could you end it there?!

I'm loving the green mittens part of the story. So cute! Although Ron really seems to be a jerk... Maybe he'll realize it and apologize?

Please update soon! You can't just leave it there!!

Your worst muggle invention fear is... stairs? That'd be a bit crazy though... You sure are brave to write about your worst fear!

Author's Response: Thanks! and now Hufflepuff has some points! :-D LOL, I know I'm cruel to leave it there, but I couldn't resist. the mittens will come into play again soon. :-D It's a very important part of the story. Who knows with Ron, but I bet he'll come around at least a bit. You are very close about the invention, not on the spot, but close. Great job! :-D Also, a lot of people probably would think that my fear is crazy, but oh well. Thanks for reading and reviewing! :-D

Poor Harry! I wonder why no one has considered putting wards on those staircases to prevent this sort of accident or at least a warning system so that the teachers would be informed when on happens. I do hope that Harry will be okay.

Author's Response: Yeah, Harry' s in a sorry state atm, and the staff was neglectful for not putting those wards up or as you suggest, a warning system. Harry will have a tough go at it, but we'll read more about that later. Thanks a bunch for reading and reviewing! :-D

Oh wow! Uh oh!!!! Poor Harry! I hope that he is still breathing at least. I hope that Severus gets him to the infirmary fast!!!

Great chapter. I don't mind the cliffie if we get a lovely chapter next time. :) Thanks for the update. I wonder if Quirrel had something to do with Harry falling - maybe he set it all up?

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing and reading! We shall see more about Harry's injuries in the next chapter, I'll only say this; his injuries are dire. I'm sure Severus will be of help. I'm glad that you don't mind the cliffie, I couldn't resist. We'll see/read more about Quirrel in another chapter. Thanks again a bunch! :-) -Autumn

It was so sad. Ron should know better than to throw Harry's mittens to the fire. He should know that Harry has not that many things. Please update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing. Yeah, I think Ron is a moron. The next chapter will be up soon, I have a lot of it written already! :-D Thanks again! -Autumn

Very cute. Will Snape ever realize that Harry was the mitten boy?

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. Yes, Snape will realize that Harry was the one he gave the mittens to, but not sure when, it could really soon. :-D
