Oh now this was lovely. What a nice, natural way for Harry and Severus to overcome an emotional impasse/bump in the road. I'm impressed.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Very glad you see it as nice and natural and very very flattered that you're impressed ^-^ *muffins for you!* ^^ Thanks!!

Hey this was a lovely little Christmas piece. I really enjoyed it a lot and I am sure it will cause images to pop up during inconvenient times hehe.
I loved the secret santa addition, that was funny and I agree...trelawny *shudder* would be hard to get a gift for. Perhaps some new tea cups? :S
The slip of "dad" fit in nicely and it was "awe" worthy as well.
Overall this was nicely paced and entertaining. I could picture it all! Thanks and keep up the good work, I certainly enjoyed this read

    Author's Response:

Aw thanks!!  I look forward to the thought that images will hanut you and make you ''awww!'' at inappropriate moments ^^

yeah... new tea cups... or a hip flask...

Hehe thank you muchly *passes u muffin* ^^

This was very funny and enjoyable. Too bad Snape didn't participate in the Secret Santa. I'd love to see him get Trewlaney, McGonagall or Lockhart! I'll have to write a story about that . . .

Have a safe and happy new year!

    Author's Response:

Thank you!  And if you do end up writing that fic let me know, I'd move to read it ^-^ - would be very entertaining to see Sev's problems multiply ^^

Hope you have a great new year too!

I definitely gigglesnorted at an inconvenient time, since I'm reading at work!! Haha, although it was more like a snortgiggle than a gigglesnort, and my colleague was convinced I was choking.

We do call them Secret Santas, yep, but why on earth would you call them KK's?? And what an image! Snape having to shop for a Secret Santa. For Trelawny's christmas present, too! Haha, it's brilliant.

That was so sweet! Definitely made up for the absolute torment you've been personally putting me through in Antonomasia. Sometimes mush is necessary. And it's not too mushy to be corny, which is just perfect. Love it, as always.

    Author's Response:

Haha, glad I could provoke a gigglesnort... snortgiggle... Sniggle?  ^^ (especially an inconvenient one... sorry but they are funny ^-^) - and hey, it's in times of trouble that you see who really cares about you... did your colleague try the Heimlich manoeuvre? ^^

I'm glad  got the secret santa thing right, here they're called Kris Kringles (KKs) so I wasnt entirely sure but thankfully everyone's known what I meant ^^  Glad my mental image machine is working satisfactorily (dont tell anyone, it's a secret... 'cos I'm clearly so good at keeping them ^^)

So very very sorry about any torment caused by Antonomasia, I've been working through the many reviews I got for it as well as possibly the most difficult chapter of the fic... needless to say I'm getting there rather slowly ^^  And mush is alwasy necessary!!! ^^  Glad there wasnt corn in my mush... that sounds disgusting... and very glad you liked it ^^

Have a wonderful new year! and thank you as always for the incredibly motivating review ^-^ *muffins for you!!!*

Lovely little fic. Somehow, you've managed to make Snape irritable and affectionate at the same time. My heart constricted every time Harry had those "this isn't really my home/room/dad" thoughts, but then you go and put a huge smile on my face with that ending. Thanks so much for this wonderful Christmas story!

    Author's Response:

Aww thank you!  Hehe, yes, I think irritably affectionate was what I was going for in the end, I'm happy it worked ^-^  And very very happy you ended with a smile on your face and less heart constricting; my ultimate goal ^-^

Thanks so much, I hope you have an awesome Christmas ^^

Awww! I loved it! Harry gave Severus the best Christmas present right there , I think. And what do you bet that he gets Sev to participate inthe Secret Santa gift exchange as well?

    Author's Response:

Thanks! And very nicely said, I agree, I think he did ^^ (interior decorator ^^) - and he probably would be able to get Sev to do it eventually with his puppy dog eyes ^^

Very glad you enjoyed it and hope you have an awesome christmas ^^
