Reviews For Some of His Best Friends Were Beasts
Author's Response: Thanks so much. Your review means a lot to me, since you're famous and all. I've always wanted to write a convincing crossover and well, here it is. I'm glad you liked it. I have also alwayas wanted Snape to be able to tell Dumbles off in a way that left no room for interference. Harry and Snape deserved so much better than what they ever got. Thanks again for your wonderful review.
Author's Response: You have GOT to read "Where the Wild Thins Are." I think it's only about thity pages and as many words. The illustrations are enchanting, and the story is deeper than it appears at first. I can't tell you how many toddlers I've given that book, because it deals with the anger and frustration that children feel at not being able to control their own universe. Max was the main chacracter of the story, so that's why the Wild Things only knew his name.
Thanks so much for the review. Ireally wanted to write a Christmas/Yule story, but not being Christian, I felt it would be hypocritical to deal with the underlying theology of the holiday. That, and I read that prompt and wanted to see if I could write a creature fic. God, I'm blabbing too much. Thanks. That's all I need to say.
