Thank you an interesting start
This is a wonderful concept - but execution is clunky and hard to read. Some of the internal dialogue is revealing, but other sections are very cliche and unrealistic. I'm unsure if I just haven't grasped where your're going with the character (Snape) or if it's not done quite so wonderfully, but I love where this is going and I have high hopes (or hope I have high hopes) for what's to come!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The internal thoughts were a requirement of the challenge that I was attempting to answer.
Oooh - nice job of getting into Severus' head! I love it! Brilliantly done. Bravo! ^^
Author's Response: Thanks. :D

I actually would like to see another chapter like this. Maybe that night at dinner when Snape has had more time to think about it?
Author's Response: I hadn't thought about writing another chapter, but I am now. If I can find some time, I'll definitely write some more. Thank you for your review, hawkswench.

Please tell me you are adding another story too this! You have left this perfect opening for one, heck this could be a first chap if you wanted. Anyway this was interesting. Nyx :)
Author's Response: I hadn't thought about adding more chapters to it, but I'm definitely thinking about it now. If I can get some free time, I'll try to write another chapter. Thanks, Nyx.

Intriguing look into Severus' thoughts. I love how you draw us in through his initial disdain of 'Potter' and then bring us to the point of acceptance as Severus realizes there is more to Harry than he first thought. Lovely look at the duel and what could have happened.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, KKJ.
