Reviews For When the Boat Comes In
Moving on to next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I'm glad you liked it :)
An excellent start - I just know I'll love where you went with this. Men aren't the only ones capable of cruelty, after all. Women can be just as cruel, sometimes even moreso. And now, I'm eagerly off to see what happens next... Wonderfully writ, so far! ^^ Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I'm really glad you've enjoyed the first chapter and grateful for the review; it really means a lot to me when people do :) I hope you continue to enjoy the story.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^. Even in the canon, Petunia always seemed the main abuser; even though Vernon's a narrow-mindend bully, Petunia's hatred is so much deeper and darker. She's such a spiteful, resentful and jealous woman that I thought I wouldn't have to change her too much to fit the story. (Vernon, I know, has been altered quite a bit in that I've given his character a shot of empathy; however, to mirror Harry and Severus' lives it was necessary.)
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I hope you continue to enjoy it
Author's Response: Thanks: it's very ooc, I know, but I think it makes Harry's situation more tragic because there's so many more 'might have beens'
