Reviews For When the Boat Comes In
I'm glad that the examinations went well and are finally over. Now it's time for the children to have a little fun. I wonder how long it will take for the other children to begin to wonder where Harry is and start to inquire as to his whereabouts? Great chapter! Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I don't think that the room actually malfunctioned; my idea of Hogwarts is that the castle has a degree of sentience- how else would the shifting staircases have not resulted in any deaths! In DH, the Room of Requirement is able to place its exit anywhere in the castle and, as it never places the children directly in harms way, one wonders whether it 'senses' people with evil intent. If so, the RoR might have decided that Harry needed to know about Voldemort's plans and taken the opportunity to eject him in a place where a. he could hide and b. he could overhear their plans. Quirrell is able to speak parseltongue because, as you suggested, he and Voldemort are sharing a head.
