Reviews For Harry Potter and the Order of the Pegasus
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I'm really glad you enjoyed it and, don't worry, I'm working on the update at the moment. It should be ready for release within the next 24 hours
Author's Response: Thanks :) Hope your homework went well and that my update didn't lose you marks ;)
Actually, perhaps it was for the best that Tom did what Slughorn wanted him to do because if Hagrid had been left to bring in even more dangerous creatures and more than one person could have died and Hagrid would have ended up in Azkaban. I really like your writing style and wish I was as good at writing conversations. I'm looking forward to seeing Harry's relationships with his Mum, Severus and Tom grow and seeing Dumbledore finally get what he deserves. Bravo! Author's Response: Thanks so much ^^. I'm really glad people like Tom; I wanted to try something different with his character and writing a non-psychopathic Tom is definately interesting. (Although, on the balance, things are far *more* dangerous for Harry this way, which is going to be a lot of fun!) I agree, Hagrid was definately a loose canon and I doubt that he would have stopped with aragog. After all, he always wanted a dragon and, I expect, Slughorn covered up for him more often than not- valuable potions ingredients could be harvested!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed the backstory: I really wanted to give an account of Tom Riddle's childhood which, while remaining true to canon events, shows his behaviour in a more human and understandable light. Your questions as to the chamber will be answered in the next few chapters; I'm afraid that, when you're writing an alternate history, it takes quite a while to unravel the kinks. However, the upside to that is the fic is going to be nice and long, which will please quite a few people from what I've read in their reviews ^^
Author's Response: Thanks; I'm really glad that you're enjoying it. This universe is, of course, different from that of 'When the Boat Comes In' but I do like to keep some important issues consistant, like Salazar's character and parentage (although, in this instance, his mother was Japanese rather than Saxon). I hope you'll continue to enjoy the back story; most of it's going to be explained but, as there's also going to be a lot of action when Harry returns to Hogwarts, some facts are going to come to light later as well. |
