Severus is in such a dark place of self reproach, and Aurora needs him. I hope they find their way to each other.

Thank you for the long chapter! It is painful to see Severus's torment, but hopefully it will make him open up a little bit!

Author's Response: He's just being a bit of a melancholy right now because he's torn between what he should do and what he will do. Thanks for the review. He won't be poor Severus for long, though. :)
I think that Severus needs to go to Aurora and talk to her, even if she doesn't seem to notice. Deep down inside, she will know that he is there and it will help her to find stability again. I have a feeling that her mother might well be the worst choice to care for her under these circumstances. She needs someone that understands...and that person is Severus.
