I think that the problems with the sorting are beginning to get more and more clear. No one is purely of one House and thus, some children might feel pressured to act a certain way in order to fit in to the House that they were placed in. Some children feel pressured by their families to be in a certain House simply because of family tradition, not because of actual personality. I see no problem with HAVING Houses, but there needs to be a change in how it is done.

    Great chapter!

Author's Response: I think there are A LOT of flaws in the sorting system! I think everyone at Hogwarts is going to learn a lot from this :) Thanks for reviewing!

:) M-R, does that just happen to have Malfoy and Harry in it? Along with Snape!
    :D
But, of course, that isn't a bad thing.
This is so good and orginal.
    I can't wait to read more :D

Author's Response: Haha yes, very convenient! Thanks for reviewing! :)

It's good that Harry and Draco just happen to end up with Severus. I have to wonder if that was accident or design on the part of Dumbledore. Sorting children in the way that it was done in the past only caused separation between the students. It would be far better to sort by age and gender than by personality. They could then use clubs and extracurricular activities as ways to blend age groups. Just a thought...

Author's Response: Yes, very convenient, isn't it? Thanks for your suggestion about the extracurriculars, I think that'll come up later in the story. Thanks for reviewing! :)

Alphabetical arrangement sounds like a marvelous idea. I liked how you described Professor Sprout and how you have written Professor Snape as a take charge, though reluctantly, professor. I look forward to more of this highly entertaining story.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I think alphabetical arrangement works for the situation. Glad you like it! :)

Good chapter--so many questions to ask. . . can't even organized them enough to put them down here. Snape, Draco and Harry. . . how is this all going to work?

    Looking forward to "what's next?"

    V.

Author's Response: A lot is going to be happening soon! Thanks for reviewing!
