Interesting story and premise. I often wondered how Hogwarts officials, who had to have seen neglected children, and especially after the "bars on the windows" incident, could have not known that something was wrong. You would have thought that they would have been monitoring such an important person much more closely. And for Dumbledore to blithely ignore someone like McGonagall deriding a family as "the worst kind of Muggles"...very out of character for her. So, long story short, good story and I want to find out what happens next, but some of the grammar and spelling problems are distracting to me. I think you would benefit by a very picky proofreader.
Author's Response: You are right. It bothered me that the adults in the story are not aware of what happens around them. Thanks a lot for reviewing. Please if you point the grammar and spelling problems I will gladly correct them.
