I've read this before--isn't it that the stinging hex reacts with something or am I just making that up.

    Author's Response: I don't believe so.

Pity, I was hoping to hear Flitwick talk about Grindalwald and how he was defeated. History of Magic sounds like such an interesting class, it is rather sad that no one ever seems to write about what is learned in it.

Not much development in this chapter. But I'm definitely looking forward to whatever increased conflict develops between Harry and Draco.

Author's Response: Sorry for not responding promptly to your review. I do give some details about Grindalwald in later chapters...namely "Dark Wizard's Downfall." So you might get some of what you were hoping for. I'd love to write a full class of History of Magic...I just don't know any of it. And you shouldn't have to wait too long for that conflict between the boys. :) Thanks for the review.

Some classes will always be boring unfortunately. The problem with most history teachers is that they don't catch or keep the interest of the students. Merely teaching facts doesn't work. It takes a really good storyteller to truly make History come alive.

    Author's Response:

Most definitely, silverstargirl. I definitely agree with you. Maybe Flitwick will get some pointers. :) Thanks for the review.
