I like your story. But I was wondering why you only have Pansy, Millicent, and Daphne as the Slytherin girls in Harry's year. Tracey Davis and one other girl who has not been identified yet by J.K. Rowling are also in Slytherin.

This is an awesome story. The Slytherins are acting like I thought they would act towards Harry. Keep up the good work and please update ASAP. :)

Hmmm, after the last chapter when the Slytherins seemed to be much fairer and even-handed than a Gryffindor might expect, this seems like quite a change. I'll assume that Snape didn't like his Slytherins not supporting their housemate, not least because of the house division being aired in the potions class. I'm also guessing that Draco's punishment was more physical than Harry realises?

Not sure how Snape's going to manage to persuade Harry to be more 'cunning'. As far as Harry's concerned he's minding his own business and standing up for his friends while the Slytherins aren't showing him any house loyalty. Looking forward to the meeting with Snape, but also the next lesson if Harry does work next to Neville. Good stuff again. :)

Author's Response: Your guess about Draco's punishment is correct. As for the meeting with Snape, I'm looking forward to it too, so I'll try not to take too long before I update! Thanks for your detailed review!

Actually I think this is one of the better stories on the board right now. Wish you would update more often.
This one seems less formulaic, and more kid centered. Snape doesn't have to adopt Harry to care for him.
    Bravo

Author's Response: Thank you! I am glad you like the story so far. "Wish you would update more often." - Me too :(

So what will happen between Harry and Snape during the meeting? I bet that they will be discussing those failed tests. CanĀ“t see Snape letting those pass without comment.
And Malfoy who was lying on his stomach after his "talk" with Snape... Love your story and hope you'll update soon!

Author's Response: So you picked up the hints about Malfoy - you were more perceptive than Harry then. Yep, the tests will definitely come up! Thanks for your review, I'm glad you like the story so far.

I'm so glad that Snape believed Harry and knew that it was Malfoy. I feel bad for Harry though, that everyone believes that he snitched on Malfoy.

Great job, and I'm anxious to know what happened with malfoy.

Author's Response: Yes, Snape did a simple test: if Harry hadn't already done his homework he'd never have been able to write the essay so quickly. But yes, he put Harry in an awkward situation that way. Thanks for reviewing!

Good story. Snape wasn't too cunning himself, was he? He should have known that the Slytherins would think that Harry "ratted" Malfoy out about the missing essay. Of course, perhaps Snape wants them to blame Harry. I doubt that he particarly wants Harry to be comfortable and happy with his Slytherins.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Snape does not really WANT them to think Harry ratted Draco out, but you are right, he didn't take care to prevent it. Although he takes his role as a head of house seriously (even with Harry), he is in a way satisfied that Harry has to struggle to be accepted (a fact that he would never admit, of course).
