Of course that happened. Oh Harry.

I can't help but wonder just how Minerva, Severus would judge Harry's actions if they knew exactly "why" he sneaked into the Slytherin common room? It just goes to show, that if the adults actually told Harry, the truth about Sirius Black and his connection to his parents deaths, he probably wouldn't have sneaked into Slytherin common room...hmm.

As my grandmother used to say to my father 'Your sins will find you out'. I liked your portrayal of Slytherin House, especially the brown-haired prefect, and I thought that Severus' method of discouraging his students from violence was very clever. Nice hint at the Deathly Hallows during the conversation with Professor McGonagall; I found her reaction to Harry's misdemenours both proportional and fair

Author's Response: Thanks for your reviewing, sorry I didn't answer any sooner! I'm glad you liked my portrayal of Slytherin House as you are going to see more of it...

Great story. Everybody is very much in character, McGonagall included (which is not often the case). Please write more!

Author's Response: Yes, McGonagall...  I have to say I rather like her.  I am glad you like the story, thanks for reviewing!

I hope that Harry tells them the truth. He only wanted to know what was being hidden from him. He has a right to know the danger that he is facing and keeping it from him will not keep him from harm, it will only make it harder for him to recognize the danger.

    Great chapter!

    Author's Response:

I agree with you, Harry shouldn't be left in the dark. Whether he will tell them the truth, you are going to find out soon...

    Thanks for reviewing!

Awesome chapter. Very well done! Harry really did deserve to get in trouble, but not get beaten up. Good thing that Prefect was there. I wonder if he will be a reoccurring character? Everyone is very much in character. I wonder what punishment Harry will face for his bad judgment. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Yes, without the prefect it would have been very unpleasant indeed... and yes, you will meet him again in the story, though he will not become a main character. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh oh! Harry is done for this time. Yikes.

I can't wait to see what happens next. Poor Harry though. He got so beaten up. Malfoy is such a bully, and so is Flint. Isn't Flint quite a bit older too than Harry and definitely bigger.

Ooh, I can't wait for the next chapter. Nice job at keeping everyone in character too.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I am happy that you think I kept everyone in character. I always try to do it - and I always worry if I have succeeded...

Oooh this seems like it will be a good story, cant wait to see what Dumbledore will say about it and what he will allow Snape to do to Harry! :D

Author's Response: Thanks for your feedback, I am glad you like the story!

Hm, when were they told to not go into the common room of another house? There's the passwords of course, but what's the reason behind it? It would make more sense if the houses were divided by ages instead of personalities. What does siblings do when they want to visit each other? Or friends? Hogwarts is really encouraging the rivalry between the houses and discouraging having friends from other houses.
How does this lead to resorting?
I'm very much looking forward to more.

    Author's Response:

I agree that Hogwarts really encourages the rivalry between houses. Inter-house friendships are definitely not encouraged. After all, in the second book when Harry and Ron wanted to go into the Slytherin common room they didn't even know where it was!

As to how this leads to resorting, you are going to find out in the next chapter! Thanks for reviewing!
