I found your story just tonight and read it. I'm very impressed. I like your portrayal of Snape as a dedicated head of house. I also think that the "sweets" thing makes sense as well as being a very inventive way for Snape to start finding out that Harry is not the pampered prince he thought he was. Good story!!

Author's Response: I'm glad you like my story! Yes, I see Snape as a dedicated head of house and I think that he would try to change the things that he suffered from during his school-days (hence the sweet-rule). Thanks for reviewing!

Putting fireants in Harry's bed wasn't funny. They could have seriously hurt him and some people are sensitive enough to even be killed by them. It was cruel and needless. Harry SHOULD have told Severus the truth. Bullying cannot be tolerated and not saying anything this time will only encourage them to do something else to him.

    Author's Response:

You are right, it wasn't funny, but children that age can be cruel (the "pranks" that are sometimes described in the HP books are not what I would call acceptable, too... I'm just thinking of the twins letting Montague disappear in the cabinet)... And I can easily imagine that 13year old boys might not think about allergies. So, if Malfoy says it's just "a bit of fun", please don't think that's my opinion, too.

Should have Harry said the truth? I personally don't think it would have helped his relationship with the others. But of course you are right, it may encourage them to do more, it's certainly a dilemma.

Thanks for reviewing and sharing your thoughts with me!

So I just discovered this story today, and I love it :D I think this is quite the situation, with Harry forced to go into Slytherin! I can see some interesting stuff coming up for him ^^ It's been a bit slow-moving for me, but I'm now that he's actually in Slytherin I'm sure there will be some more action ^_^ I really wanna know what happens next, so please update soon ^.^ :D :D :)

Author's Response: Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you like the story! About slow-moving - yes I can understand that, it's what I always fear when I have finished a chapter, "Isn't it too drawn out?"

Man if I was Harry I'd be looking up personnal safety charms to alert him if anyone with malicious intent is around. Kind of like the sneak a scope.

Author's Response: Good idea with the Sneakoscope - I forgot about that! Thanks for reviewing!

Oh dear. poor Harry. I guess him not ratting out Malfoy and the others, made them slightly more tolerant of Harry, I guess.

Great chappie. Don't worry. I totally understand. I haven't updated in a long time either. Computer problems, real life...Ugh!

Author's Response: We'll see if it made the others slightly more tolerant of Harry, but yes, if he had sneaked it definitely wouldn't have helped! Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you liked the chapter!
