Lol! The giggle was well placed. Snape seems to be a better head of house than McGonagall. Great chapter, update soon!

Author's Response: I don't know if he's better, but he's certainly different. Thanks for reviewing!

Great idea about the prefects sharing out sweets equally; I can imagine Severus, who came from a deprived background himself, implementing a rule like this.

    Author's Response:

Exactly. I think Snape as Head of House will try to change the things he suffered from as a student.

Thanks for taking the time to review each chapter separately, I really appreciate this!

Having Harry 'resorted', albeit temporarily, into Slytherin is a very interesting idea. I loved the dialogue in this chapter; it felt very realistic and the characters were true to canon

Author's Response: Thanks, I tried hard to make the dialogue sound realistic, so I am very glad you liked it!!

As my grandmother used to say to my father 'Your sins will find you out'. I liked your portrayal of Slytherin House, especially the brown-haired prefect, and I thought that Severus' method of discouraging his students from violence was very clever. Nice hint at the Deathly Hallows during the conversation with Professor McGonagall; I found her reaction to Harry's misdemenours both proportional and fair

Author's Response: Thanks for your reviewing, sorry I didn't answer any sooner! I'm glad you liked my portrayal of Slytherin House as you are going to see more of it...

Facinating idea: I'm very interested to see where you're going with this. I feel rather sorry for poor Hermione though, as the undervalued voice of reason.

Author's Response: "Undervalued voice of reason", I like your wording!

Severus needs to be careful about what he assumes about Harry. He has this really bad habit of seeing James Potter instead of Harry. He doesn't know Harry and has no right to accuse him of being a bully. (Yes, I know that he didn't call him one per se, but he did imply that he thinks he is one quite strongly.) It's rather insulting to Harry that Severus assumes that HE will be the one that causes problems. Harry isn't so stupid to do so when he's surrounded by a large group of people who have a history of being nasty to him. Does Severus really think that Harry is suicidal? Also, Severus is naive if he really believes that Harry can relax and not worry about being attacked when left alone with the likes of Draco Malfoy and his henchboys. I have a feeling that Harry is going to be sleeping even worse than normal....

    Author's Response:

I agree with you, he DID imply Harry was a bully. I tried to show with his reaction after Harry's indignant answer that he had to admit to himself that Harry indeed is not (of course he wouldn't admit it openly).

    Thanks for reviewing!
