Wonderfully brilliant story. I love how he makes amends with Harry. Basically I loved everything about the story. I especially enjoyed the ending. I hope you know you're a brilliant author and writer. Cheers and ta.
    PS: I wish I could rate this a 12.

Author's Response: Awe. Thank you for such kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Loved the ending!! But I would have liked that spell explained.

    Author's Response: Thank you. :)

Omg, what a turn and what a cliff hanger!!

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

I should have been reviewing all along these chapters... I love your story. Excellent writing. I hate stories that are all sappy and sentimental... These are so out of character for Snape.

Author's Response: Thank you. I'll admit my writing (at least I think so) has improved quite a bit from my earlier stories. THank you.

No matter how mad at her he might be, Harry would never call Hermione a mudblood.

Author's Response: Perhaps not, but it is set in OOTP, so Harry isn't necessarily alone up there in his head anymore. Voldie is there too. Thanks for the review.

Ooohh-- that's a CHILLING chapter! With a great tension-breaker at the very end! :-)

Author's Response: I felt like this chapter needed to be written. Snape had lots of knowledge that Harry never learned, and who better to learn from about revenge not working than Snape? Thanks for the review. :)

Payback-- I think we've all been there, even if we can't (or won't) follow through on the impulse. So the impulse is where Sev & Harry connect psychologically.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. :)

Hmm... Seems that Sev may be in denial on several levels...

Author's Response: Oh, yes, he's definitely in denial. :) Thanks for the review. :)

Hee hee! Not exactly what Harry expected to overhear while foraging for a midnight snack! But it works well to show the prickly relationship between Snape and Sinistra. (Sort of the grown-up version of Ron & Hermione's bickering!)

Author's Response: It's something like that. :) Thanks for the review.

That was impressive. I like Mentor stories. But I suspect that there is more convuleted messes to be dealt with in the sequel. Keep writing, and Kudos on a well written story

    Author's Response:

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it, and there are definitely more messes that Snape and Harry have to deal with. I can't just have them have an easy life. In fact, one mess actually happens right away in the first chapter of the sequel. :)
