"Revenge ... only darkens your soul." YES! If only all those people who want to "get back" at someone could understand that, our world would be a much better, happier place.

Author's Response: Yep, and Snape found that out the hard way. Thanks for the review. :)

Oooh! This is REALLY thickening the plot! / I also found it interesting when Snape "shared" a memory of his own after seeing Harry's memory. It's a bit unconventional, but it sounds like it fits with this different-type Snape. The canon Snape couldn't be bothered to offer that much of himself.

    Author's Response:

The memory Snape showed wasn't intentional on his part. Just when he saw Harry's memory, that memory popped up and went to Harry. I kind of thought that Snape would have been a bit emotional for a split second and his barrier would drop for a milisecond. Thanks for the review. :)

Title: I Won't Back Down 10 May 2010 4:44 am

It's amazing how much psychoanalytical material you can pack into a single, relatively short chapter! Terrific job in all respects!

Author's Response: That chapter is all a result of listening to that song. Thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked it. :)
Title: Crashed 10 May 2010 4:23 am

Ow! That must have hurt! Snape's realization even more than Sinistra's bruises. *wince*

Author's Response: I don't like to show him act a bit like how I think Tobias acted, but he does have a bit of a temper and he was busy with Harry. But yeah, I agree with you. It probably did hurt him more because I think he truly does his best not to become his father. Thanks for the review. :)
Title: Down with the Sickness 10 May 2010 3:57 am

Fairy Ice! It has a name! But what does it DOOOOOOO??!

    Author's Response:

Fairy Ice is a very strong liquor. It is kind of like vodka only stronger. Snape drinks it basically to numb himself from the effects of what's going on. In a way, it helps with dealing from the pain after a Cruciatus if he wants to semi-suffer, but it really just gets him extremely drunk. In this case, Harry, unfortunately, drank it. Thanks for the question and the review. :)

BLACK BATHROBES!!! AIEEEEE! What an incredible DETAIL!!! And I'm still insatiably curious about what that potion was and how it WORKS! What would its effect been on Snape, if he had taken it instead of Harry?

Author's Response: Well, it was between black or green bathrobes...and black made more sense. I'll explain about the potion in the next response. Thanks for the review. :)
Title: Lifeline 10 May 2010 3:09 am

Whoa! That WASN'T what I'd expected from the potion! I'd thought it'd be more like an excess of Happy Juice! Now I'm REALLY intrigued...

    Author's Response:

It just makes Harry's "Voldemort" dreams worse because it weakens his mind. Thanks for the review. :)

Oh, man! That's too FUNNY! I can only assume Snape had left a potion to counter the effects of the Cruciatus Curse, waiting for his return, and Harry O.D.ed on something that soothed his nerves a little TOO well! Expel ... mouse! HAHAHAHAHA! xD

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. :) Thanks for the review. :)

BLEAGGGHHHH!!! (Bellatrix, not your chapter!) I sincerely HOPE that sadistic twitch ISN'T Snape's lady friend-- say it isn't so! I can hardly bear to read on...

Author's Response: I'm not that sadistic, shadowienne. :) Thanks for the review. :)

Hmmm... I'm starting to wonder if Sinistra is the "lady friend", in spite of her rather prickly attitude toward Snape. Time will tell, eh?

    Author's Response: :) Thanks.
