I just noticed your answer to someone else's review:
You can have Snape that he felt a hint of that pain before, when he tried to take his own life and realized he would be seeing Lily and Lily, but also leaving Harry.
Author's Response: I added a line to the letter at the end, "This is the letter I had started, but not finished, after everything that happened with young Lily. Now you know." I hope this makes it clear? If not, I'll keep tweaking it. Thanks for your feedback!

Wonderful. Simply wonderful story. :) Beautiful.
I wonder what Snape means in his letter about leaving Harry. Does he mean that he is getting older and dying?

Nice story so far, i can't wait for more. However the end of the letter was kind of confsing. Is Snape leaving?
Anyway can'r wait for more.

Author's Response: Thanks! Snape isn't leaving. The letter in the last chapter was the completed version of the letter Snape original tried to write but didn't finish. I added the P.S. in hopes that readers would realize that Snape was NOT leaving. Any other ideas on how to make this work better?
