Author's Response: Scrimgeor's an ass, though. He wanted to arrest Snape and get him away, saying anything to get his way. Thanks, though.
Author's Response: Thank you
I do have to wonder about Rufus' claim that Severus forced himself upon Aurora. How does he propose to prove it or is this just an excuse to get Severus in his hands so that he can have an 'unfortunate' accident? What really gets me is this...does he really expect Aurora to back up his claims? Besides, Aurora and Severus weren't even together after the Ball. Everyone that was there knows that they left separately. Also Severus went directly back to his rooms and didn't leave them until summoned by Albus via house elf, which I'm sure could easily be proved by speaking to the portraits and house elves. Even Remus could state that, at least for awhile, Aurora was with him and that Severus was nowhere in sight. Author's Response: I'm sorry that you had to explain it. It makes a lot more sense now to me. Again, I'm sorry. In response to the first part, I bet if Scrimgeour even attempts to spin it his way that there will be certain students who will definitely take offense to that and raise hell against him. :) Definitely not the majority of Hogwarts would blame Severus. You have to remember, though, that Scrimgeour left right before she shared her dance with Dumbledore and Snape. So Scrimgeour wasn't even there to see what was going on at the dance. He just later heard from his Aurors about her dance and kiss with Severus. I think Scrimgeour operates under the "I'm the head of the Auror agency so I don't need to prove it." After all, in a way he acts as if he has Fudge under his thumb. It's mostly just an excuse to be a spiteful little monster. So you said in your prior review that Scrimgeour was an idiot, he's worse than that. He's probably about troll range with his mental capacities. In any case, I'm sure we'll be getting a really good excuse from Scrimgeour, though. :) And I'm certain that this isn't the last we see Severus and Scrimgeour together. Thanks for clarifying, and I'm very sorry that I didn't understand it the first time.
Author's Response: Okay, perhaps it's me being dumb here, but I'm confused by the pronoun generalization. Are you asking how Rufus is going to explain what Rufus did to Aurora? Or what Rufus claimed Severus did to Aurora? Either way, Scrimgeour has some serious explaining to do in the next chapter. :) And with your last question...he referring to Severus or Scrimgeour? If it's in reference to Severus, I'm sure he's going to find a way to thank them somehow. If it's in response to Scrimgeour, he's not exactly saved yet. Perhaps he's saved from Severus...temporarily, but he still has Albus Dumbledore and several others to deal with. :D Thanks for the review.
Time to get rid of the skunk........Rufus Scrimgeor..... any teacher witnesses besides McGonagal & Hagrid..... you did mentions Fudge with Rufus when he came to Hogwarts....... Update soon......I find this story good. Author's Response: I'm glad you're liking this story. When he charges Snape with being a Death Eater, all of the teachers are there in the Great Hall, except Dumbledore and Sinistra who are still in Dumbledore's office. McGonagall and Hagrid are just the only ones who stick up for Snape because the other ones are either too shocked to respond or are unsure of Snape's true loyalties. We'll see more of Fudge and Scrimgeour in the next chapter. I can't just end it there. After all, Scrimgeour isn't the head of the Auror Agency for nothing. ;) Thanks for the review. |
