Reviews For Eclipse of the Soul, the Sevitus version
Author's Response: Thankk you for your condolences Fmh. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter (and sorry for the cliffy). Hugs, SHaria
These past couple of chapters have been so well-written and powerful, though I'm afraid for Harry. Things were going so well, too, until the boys decided to be...well, boys. I can understand their need to celebrate, to have one last adventure before graduation (though if any of them had been thinking clearly they ought to have realized that with a war going on, adventures were not in short supply and that they could easily get more than they bargained for). Their bravado and self-confidence is also typical...but they really should have known better. I am glad to see that Harry is attempting to stay calm and to think his way through, and I hope he'll be successful. He made a stupid mistake, yes, but no one knows it better than he does, and I do hope he won't have to suffer. Looking forward to more! Author's Response: Thanks for your condolences Kristeh and for the lovely review. You of course would understand how vulnerable it feels to write & what an intimate relation develops with one's beta. I told Willingly Suspend she had to promise that nothing is going to happen to her. On to the story. Yes, teenagers will be teenagers. Harry is a good kid but he's human and subject to making mistakes. So here he finds himself in this dire situation but has managed to use what he's learned. The only kicker is: he can't move and therefore is unable to cast spells. A missing link in his training. Stay tuned for further developments and thanks again. Hugs, SHaria |
