Reviews For Eclipse of the Soul, the Sevitus version
Author's Response: Oh KimSpiritTalks, Thank you so much for your kind remarks. "strong understanding of emotions..." I always just think of myself as overly sensitive and basically a big softy; I like your way of putting it much better. As for Harry in canon, thank goodness we have Jo and her genius and that she created this fabulous, intricate HP universe. But I do agree with the missed opportunity in developing Harry's insight on matters (and there was certainly plenty of subject matter to inspire reflection, yes?) hugs, SHaria
Author's Response: Ooooh, I love your name, and I couldn't agree with you more. But ... this is going to be a Severitus fic (the Snarry version is eslewhere). The idea of Harry's experimenting isn't too far off from what teens get up to, and it will actually play a vital role in the development of this fic. And, I also very much agree with the entire concept of 'these two characters' being immensely complex. Heavens, I could read an entire fic that centered only upon these two men. Back to the subject at hand- With Harry, in canon, we were privelaged to know the unfortunate elements of his childhood that influenced the person he became, but with regards to Severus, all we are allowed to see is a person who is wounded and bitter. What happened to make him that way? Why oh why, living in tandem with someone who personifies the three elements of love (Harry), why couldn't Harry have touched Severus and helped him to heal. So, that was the canon, in this fanon (this fic), I make that possibility happen. Thank you so much for sharing your impressions with me. Like I said, I love feedback. There are oodles of chapters ready to be approved, so hang in there- they are coming. cheers, SHaria
Author's Response: Thank you so much frodolove12 (cute name) for your kind words. I have many chapters completed and will post them on a regular basis. : - )) SHaria
But will it be a Severitus(Harry is Severus's son)?I read so in the story notes... Kiss^-^ Author's Response: Hi there Sevvy, To my knowledge, any story in which Severus takes the role of a mentor, guardian or father (of Harry) falls under the classification of a Severitus fic. I might change my mind, but as of now, Severus will assume the role of either a mentor or a guardian. I'm glad you liked the first chapter. I have many more finished and will post them on a regular basis. Best to you and thanks for your review, SHaria
