Reviews For Eclipse of the Soul, the Sevitus version
Author's Response: Oh little-sun, you just need to read the next chapter. Let me know what you think after that. Hang in there, the beginning of this fic is depressing but Harry will come around and believe it or not- he'll find his smile. Thanks for reviewing. Hugs, SHaria
So, it doesn't really work in "The descent into the miasma of his depression was slow and specious. " Try instead - "His descent into depression was subtle and prolonged." Author's Response: Thanks for your input Anon #37, but actually- specious is exactly the word I wanted to use. You see, I also traveled down that slow and specious path a long time ago. One can't possibly realize the deceptive and gradual attributes of depression (and the journey getting there) unless you've experienced it. All the unhealthy ways one starts to think seems plausible and even justified, but in truth it's like sinking into a pit of camouflaged quicksand. So yes, I believe specious sums up the journey and the character of the beast quite nicely. But again, I do appreciate you sharing your opinion. SHaria
Author's Response: You are so sweet to review. Thank you, I really appreciate it. I love Molly and Arthur and want to give them more of a presence in Harry's life (when possible). I'm glad you are enjoying the story, SHaria |
