Reviews For Eclipse of the Soul, the Sevitus version
I especially loved the last scene with Severus and Harry. I had to grin at Severus' apology...no simple "I'm sorry" for him! But he did manage to say it aloud, and Harry accepted and apologized for his own mistakes too. And Severus showed insight and compassion in taking Harry away from his office and to a neutral relaxed setting, with no bad memories. I think it was a small sign, but an important one, of his sincere desire to begin anew with Harry and to help him succeed. And Harry is still just a typical kid, playing with his vegetables, lol. I love all the detail and thought you put into your story and I'm excited for the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks Kristeh for your kind words and insightful review. I wrote this chapter nearly a year ago (for the Snarry version) and I remember that it took forever to write (over 2 months). So much to think through and lots of subtleties to work in. I'm so glad you appreciated it and thank you for letting me know. Hugs, SHaria

Author's Response: I have no idea what Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters are. The character of Channon came from me. He isn'at based on anyone, but his name is a play on someone from the realm of energy/magic/qi. Can you figure it out???? (I haven't even gotten to what it is he does). None the less, good luck in your reading endeavors. Cheers, SHaria
I really hope that Harry will be able to regain control of his magic. Until he does, there are sure to be some interesting happenings. Author's Response: Thanks for your nice long review silverstargirl. As I've mentioned in other responses: I always felt bad that Severus didn't rise to his potential in canon. He is smart, sensitive, clever ... I could go on- So now he has apologized to Harry, face to face, and Harry has accepted his apology. Their work together will inspire them to deal with some personal issues: trust (for Harry) and facing one's own frailities (for Severus). As for the power surges, just wait. Cheers, SHaria
Author's Response: Thanks min. That whole bit with Snape took a long time to write; there was a lot that needed to be said. I'm glad you liked it. SHaria |
