Reviews For Eclipse of the Soul, the Sevitus version
Author's Response: Thanks Kim. Yes, so true for those who have been emotionally wounded, people and animals alike. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, SHaria
Author's Response: Thanks again. Yes, their discussion was something that, in my opinion, definately needed to take place. Glad you enjoyed it. SHaria
Author's Response: You are so sweet to review. Thank you, I really appreciate it. I love Molly and Arthur and want to give them more of a presence in Harry's life (when possible). I'm glad you are enjoying the story, SHaria
Author's Response: Oh KimSpiritTalks, Thank you so much for your kind remarks. "strong understanding of emotions..." I always just think of myself as overly sensitive and basically a big softy; I like your way of putting it much better. As for Harry in canon, thank goodness we have Jo and her genius and that she created this fabulous, intricate HP universe. But I do agree with the missed opportunity in developing Harry's insight on matters (and there was certainly plenty of subject matter to inspire reflection, yes?) hugs, SHaria
Author's Response: I completely and totally agree with you; that's why I wrote this fic. Thanks for your review autumnamberleaves. I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Chapter 5 should be posted this weekend. SHaria
I'm curious to see what role Severus plays in this story, and I hope we see more of him soon. This is a great start. I really feel for Harry, and it reminds me of the times a friend was going through periods of depression. Author's Response: Thank you for sharing your thoughts EllaEleniel. To be honest, I had a bout with depression years ago after a traumatic event, so I simply drew upon how I felt at the time and my therapy sessions (which was ... you guessed it- talking). Both Harry and Severus have been affected by emotional trauma, the difference is that Harry's loved ones took the bull by the horn (or should I say the lion by the tail) and got help for him, where as Severus never had this opportunity and became closed off and bitter (something had to make him that way). Harry will process through his depression much more quickly than Severus, but he'll get there also. Thanks again. Hugs, SHaria
Author's Response: Thank you so much Kristeh. I was actually a late comer to the HP books and as someone pressed for time, I listened to them (rather than read) while commuting. I must have listened to each book at least four times. I can just hear all the character's voices in my head as I write (Jim Dale is soooo great). I'll sit real quite and think: now, how would Dumbledore say this or what would Severus's take be on this ... Someday, maybe when I retire, I would very much like to sit down and visually read the books. Another sense ... right? Thanks again. Hugs, SHaria
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like ... make that 'love' it. Since I'm new to P and S, everything has to be approved before it can be posted. Chapter 4 should be out by Friday, I should think. hugs, SHaria
I am amazigly currious--and looking forward to it. You are an excellent writer and I look forward to the future of this version of your story. V. Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words V. I honestly believe that Eclipse (and TC) could go both ways. Thanks for reading and for your review! SHaria
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review alifromnm. Yes, there are some sad times in this story which also leaves me in tears, but there are also light moments and happy times. I love Harry, he's my hero. Sev is a good guy and a fascinating character. Don't worry, they'll work this all out. Just hang in there. Take care, SHaria |
