Lovely chapter can't wait for more
I'm glad that Harry remembers Hagrid. It is sure to mean a great deal to Hagrid that Harry not only isn't scared of him, but actually seems to trust and like him. Hagrid will be another ally in Severus' quest to keep Harry safe and happy.
I wonder what lessons James will be teaching Dumbledore? The old man has made many a bad decision and I hope that he will learn his lesson and finally see what he has done wrong. I also hope that he will make amends...
Aww, super sweet ending. And I'm really interested in what James is doing with Albus. I like the fact that he gets a slightly more active role in this. Most times he just gets ignored.
Oh, I so love that he remembers Hagrid!

I like how you had Poppy handle hte exam as wel as her consideration of Severus' sensibilities. I can just see Captain in his new eyeglasses :)
I really loved the way that Harry defended Severus to Dumbledore and hated the way Dumbledore was talking about Sev. Thank goodness Lily was there to explain things to Harry. I admit that I was afraid that Dumbledore had put something hidden in the adoption papers that would cause problems later on. It's the sort of thing he would do, I think, given the way that you have his personality written.

More please! These bite-sized chapters are very good but just not long enough. :-)

I have a feeling Dumbledore will eventually get what's coming to him. I love little Harry's response to Dumbledore on his ability to hurt him. What is Dumbles thinking? And more importantly why would he want to send a child back to an obviously abusive environment. The Greater Good can only go so far.

Wonderful, I love baby Harry stories and the introduction of Captain as his connection with the world is well done. I especially love little Harry's unwavering faith in his "tall man." Well done!
