Reviews For Marks of Days Gone By
Author's Response: Thanks!
The growing distance between Ron and Harry was sad but understandable; as Harry's matured, he's become more focused and serious which gives him more in common with Hermione. I always thought that the canon Ron really did seem the odd one out of the trio (being rather more hendonistic and prone to seeing the world as black and white), which made me rather sceptical of the Ron/Hermione pairing. (I loved your ending to this chapter; it was a really sweet and vivid image.) Author's Response: The changing focus was something I was experiemnting with in this story. Glad to know it worked out. :) I never liked Ron/Hermione either. Ron just never seems to mature and he grows more and more away from his friends in Deathly Hallows. I'm not a big Weasley fan at all and I tend to treat them badly in all my fan ficition.
It's very in character, however, for hotheaded Harry to publicly give up after trying his best to no avail. I don't expect he's given up on Potions for good, though. Author's Response: A masochistic addiction, what a godd descreption of his behaviour. But there certainly is something wrong when he gives up Quidditch. :) Harry gives up to easily. Sometimes you have to try again and again.
But I bet Snape was there in spirit too. He would have been proud of Harry though. And his kids were sorted into Slytherin. Too funny. Snape would have turned in his grave. Nice job. Author's Response: I'm glad you understood it. Some of the last chapter actually confused me. :) Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad you enjoyed my story. :)
Snape must be wondering what the heck has gotten into Harry. Hermione must be happy though. Great job, onto the next chappie. Author's Response: In my mind Hermione always wished that the boys would start working with her. And Harry's attraction to her isn't unwanted either. :) I always thought that Snape saw Harry more as Lily than James once he started working harder. Thanks for reviewing!
Doesn't Snape notice at all? Great start NF! Author's Response: Snape might notice, but he's not a nice guy. In OotP Harry gets a D on his first essay. An "A" is a decent mark compared to that. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) |
