I'm not sure that Dumbledore was right in his assertion that Harry will develop affection toward Severus once he knows the truth. Harry might understand a bit more, but that is a long ways from liking the man... Of course, learning that he will have to die in order for Voldemort to be killable won't be easy to stomach either.
