Reviews For Caring for Yin and Yang
Although there's some weirdness with how Snape said they were both eleven -- WAIT A SECOND. School got out a week ago, and so it's past first year, and so they're both eleven. Okay! I can do math! I apologize for that. Anyhow, this is pretty awesome, and I hope Snape will be all like "Blargh, children. Argh, I suppose I will play checkers with you." which means he will pretty much become their guardian. Uhm. Also, will Dudley's mum's death ever sink in? Or will he just throw tantrums and be awful and it'll never really be mentioned in the story? What about Harry? Did Petunia's death affect him at all? I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR UPDATE. Author's Response: Thank you! Actually I took a few liberties with their ages, or at least with Dudley's age. He should be twelve allready since his birthday is just before school lets out, but I wanted him to have his birthday with Snape (you'll see why later). I was kinda hoping no one would notice actually. :) I hope to keep Snape sneering as much as possible for as long as possible, but I do have a couple mushy scenes planned though they aren't for several chapters yet. As for Petunia's death, it will eventually sink in for Dudley but not for a few more chapters. Harry will be affected as well, but not to the same extent. Snape will even be...moved by her death to some extent. I will try to update soon. Thanks for an amazing review!
Looking forward to your next update. V. Author's Response: I do feel sorry for Harry, but...hurting him makes for a much better story. Snape will eventually figure out whats going on with his two boys, but it will take some time to fix the damage. Hopefully, for the readers it will be an interesting ride. Thanks for the great review!
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest as well!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it. :)
Author's Response: I wish I could say the idea was solely mine, but it was Foolish Wishmaker's. When I read her challenge this little story just popped into my head and wouldn't go away. And no Snape will not have much tolerance for Dudley's attitude. :) Thanks for the wonderful review!
I can't Believe that Snape would not only leave two 12 yr.olds home along, but THESE TWO 12year olds! That's almost as worse as leaving Harry and Draco alone in an empty house together!LOL my, my, is Snape in for a rude awakening when he gets back! please update soon! I wanna see if these two nearly kill each other( that sounded WAY to morrbid, didn't it!LOL) and how Snape handles their old anomosity toward each other. ~shannon Author's Response: lol. Well, in Snape's defense he doesn't quite understand the animosity between the two yet. Not to mention it makes for some great moments. As for them nearly killing each other, well...you'll just have to wait and see. :) Thanks for the great review!
Author's Response: lol. Sometimes praise pure and simple is nice too. :) Thank you for a lovely review!
Author's Response: I have many plans for Severus and Dudley...hehehe. Thanks for the great review!
Can't wait for more... I'm hooked. Author's Response: Thank you! I've gotten some mixed reviews for the first chapter, but people seem to be enjoying the second chapter. As for who the women are you're going to have to keep guessing for awhile ;). Thank you for a wonderful review!
I didn't see the 'vagueness' of the first chapter as a negative. Instead it, successfully, created interest in reading more as I wanted to know who the "Daddy" referred to was (obviously NOT Harry) and who the 2 couples alluded to where and how they came to be. As well as finding out more about the kids. Author's Response: Thank you so much. That sort of 'vagueness' was exactly what I was trying to portray. Apparently based on other reviews I've received I was not as sucessful as I meant to be. As for Snape and Dudley...well you'll just have to wait and see, but I assure you he is in for a huge shock. Thanks for your wonderful reveiw! |
