Your writing is so darn beautiful. There are sentences here that had me smiling, not only for their content but also for their cleverness.

Good second chapter. The obstacle course was a good way for Snape to show Harry how important suitable clothing is in a practicle situation. I enjoyed the idea of the book "Warlock's Weft" and Harry and Hermione's use of it.

I loved the care Harry took in creating his dueling clothes and how he has already started to mimic Snape. It's too bad the triwizard tournament had to intervene in Snape seeing Harry for who he is, rather than who Snape wants to see him as.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I think Harry and Severus really needed to be forced, by events, into sharing a hobby they both loved, without an audiuence of minideatheaters, to actually engage

Great chapter! Severus could be a really good teacher, if he could get over his petty vindictive attitude, that is. I liked the reasoning behind his clothes and the book is a nice touch. Hopefully he and Harry can learn to get along better soon.

Author's Response: Thanks :) Yes, Severus' problem really is his attitude but, appeasing Voldemort's spies aside, it's a bit of a vicious circle; if the children treat him with disrespect/disobedience, he'll terrorise them and, of course, certain children will respond in kind. I'm glad you like the reasoning behind his clothes; it's always struck me that his close-fitting 'film' outfit is perfect for duelling.

Amazing explanations, wonderful writing, deep and clever insights. This is fast becoming my favorite story and I hope it is of epic length before it's through.

Author's Response: Thanks (blushes); I'm really glad that you're enjoying it. At present, the story is only twelve chapters long but, if people like this particular alternate universe, then I could always write a sequel or two ^^

Snape amused? Ha. Points to you for that. Loved the chapter, it felt very dynamic, but I rather think it's your writing style. I want to know how the relationship between Harry and Snape will change - for the better, I hope.

Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I'm really glad you're enjoying it. Canon Severus has always struck me as having a somewhat dark, sarcastic sense of humour and it's a great trait to use if a writer wants to show his more human side- or really rile up Harry lol!

Wow! Poor Harry. Too bad that he hadn't had the chance to prove to Snape that he could be competent at Potions. too. But having Harry read that book, was brilliance. And so is this story!

    I'm

Author's Response: Thanks ^^ the idea came to me one day when I was considering Severus' old fashioned clothes; it suddenly struck me that the close fitting tunic and trousers were ideal for duelling and, naturally, I had to give Severus (who must have tired of jokes about his apparel) a chance to prove to Harry that he didn't know everything. "Warlock's Weft" was a natural progression- I just had to include a book written by a Mad-Eye Moody type! Thanks for the kind reviews :)
