I really loved this chapter, especially Severus losing it with Dumbledore. I'm glad that he has finally accepted that he was wrong about Harry being spoiled and conceited. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm really glad; I was a little worried about whether I took things too far in that scene- even though I felt Severus' reaction in character- so I'm very pleased that it was well received
Wow, that was a totally unexpected change and something I've never seen happen in any story. Congratulations on blowing me away. Very well written and frightening as well.
Author's Response: Thanks: I really wanted to write a 'twisty' tale and I'm glad whenever one of my plot twist comes as a surprise to the reader because, as someone who reads way too many books, I always find the more unpredictable stories most entertaining. Thanks for the review and I hope you continue to enjoy the fic :)

Great chapter! Severus could be a really good teacher, if he could get over his petty vindictive attitude, that is. I liked the reasoning behind his clothes and the book is a nice touch. Hopefully he and Harry can learn to get along better soon.
Author's Response: Thanks :) Yes, Severus' problem really is his attitude but, appeasing Voldemort's spies aside, it's a bit of a vicious circle; if the children treat him with disrespect/disobedience, he'll terrorise them and, of course, certain children will respond in kind. I'm glad you like the reasoning behind his clothes; it's always struck me that his close-fitting 'film' outfit is perfect for duelling.
Amazing explanations, wonderful writing, deep and clever insights. This is fast becoming my favorite story and I hope it is of epic length before it's through.

Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I'm glad you liked the back-story although, admittedly, the idea of a "safe corridor" was Jan's, I just created a history behind it lol.
I am glad that Dumbledores trinkets got destroyed in your story too ;) it is my fav scene.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ It just felt right including that event in the scene, after all, if Harry was furious *after* Sirius' death, just how angry would he be to hear that Dumbledore was going to do nothing to *prevent* Severus' death?

This was a very intriguing story. I really enjoyed the Hagrid part--very unusual and it works! Thanks for a great story. I really enjoyed it.
