I hate to say this, but I feel it's a good thing that Harry got sick enough that he missed his appointment, warrenting a welfare check by Severus. It is highly doubtful that Harry would have ever willingly told anyone of his plight, due to his embarrassment. Severus' discovery was a blessing.
I wonder which ghost Severus is hoping to see? Is he planning on sending a ghostly 'gift' to the Dursleys for Christmas? :D
Oh, it's really good to see Harry and Severus getting to know one another. I love a gentle protective Snape, and I'm really enjoying yours!
Oh, I'm so glad that Severus has found out about the blood quill and that he is being so protective. I would have really liked to have seen that happen in canon.
Thankfully Harry is starting to heal and hopefully, a new and better relationship with Severus has begun. It was nice of Severus to let Harry know that his essay was good and also how to improve it. He really is acknowledging that Harry is different from what he had thought.
And loved that Severus wanted post-its!
Great chapter. Sev is finally seeing Harry the boy, not James. Sev does have a wicked sense of humor. I look forward to your next update.
