Seems like Harry has his work cut out for him! He's very sweet for helping Remus like that. I'm also glad that he's doing what he wanted to do in the first place with helping Remus, instead of taking on some other meaningless job like cleaning the defense room every day or something.
I wonder how Sev will feel about Harry sending Neville to do everything, especially with the headmaster...
I must be some sort of Slythering because I don't think I could ever willingly take on an apprenticeship or anything that bound me to another person and give control to them lol. It shows that Harry and Remus both are very disciplined and thinking more of the future and the greater good, than of their comforts, especially Remus. It must be weird being bound to someone when your friends terrorized that person all while you were in Hogwarts. Poetic justice....Not that it was Remus' fault or anything lol.
Oh btw, there are a few grammar mess ups you may want to take a look at. But I think i'm the last one to read this fic in like a year lol, so I guess it doesn't matter too much XD
p.s. Leave it to Harry to forget about a quidditch game! lol I couldn't believe he forgot, but I guess he has other more important things going on. Not to mention it wasn't like it was his own quidditch match he forgot about lol, or half of Gryffindor would be searching for him haha
Awww that's beautiful! It seems like the ritual had it's own idea! It's really cool the detail you put into the ritual, and the wording of the ritual was simply amazing. I like how the ritual seems to have lessened the slave and master thing a bit. It's more like father, son, mentor. It just seems more...civil? I guess? Not sure if civil was the word I want to use. But it is less primitive than the slave and master nonsense.
I thought the comment about the Burrow being quiet was funny lol. It's sad when the BURROW becomes a quiet haven!
Oi, Harry is very brave to enter into a magical contract like that. That apprenticeship is nothing to joke with, it's kinda scary. No Gyffindor crest? lol, that's scary. I'd hate to enter into slave like contract like that and have to give up my Slytherin crest. But I suppose the Slytherin house wouldn't vote me back in the house anyway lol, my attitude and all....tsktsk. hehe

Wow! An apprenticeship! Three years is quite a long time to be under someone's reign, but it is necessary and Sev and Moony love Harry, and I know they would never take advantage of him. I'm just happy that they have found away to get past the Ministry!
I just hope Harry wants to do it. I know he wants a family. He wants loving parents that nag him to clean and study and worry him with petty things, and this apprenticeship isn't exactly that. But, he will be getting quite a bit of training to pwn Voldy's life so.....
lol, I still feel bad for Dumbledore. I don't think Sirius was his fault at all. I think he, Harry and Sirius should all share the blame. He should have told Harry that Voldy would try to get him to the ministry for that prophecy, but Harry shouldn't have rushed down there like that. Even he'd known of the prophecy, i'm sure he still would have rushed down there. Sirius is also the blame. He knew that the Order was more than capable of handeling themselves, he did not have to go downn to the ministry either. Heck, Kreacher and Sev are to blame too. My point is I wish people would stop placing all their blame on Albus. No one should ever put all their eggs in one basket anyway, because as soon as that basket gets messed up or is a bit faulty, everhthing goes crazy. Lesson learned, stop treating Dumbledore like a god,because as soon ashe messes up, people treat him like he's some time of crack pot old fool. He's no Merlin, he's just a human wizard trying his best to fix the wizarding the world. No one should fault him for that.
Awww, I really hate when poor Albus gets the blame for stuff like this. Minerva shouldn't have went in there like some common Muggle! Tsktsk Minerva. What if Dumbledore had no clue of what was going on with Harry?
Idk why, but in every fic where Dumbledore is made the enemy like this, I just feel so bad for him. He's such a powerful wizard with so much under his control that sometimes making decisions like where to place the Golden Boy must be really hard. He had to do what was best for the boy and put him somewhere where Voldy and his zillion of crazy followers wouldn't find and kill him. Who would have known that his own flesh and blood would take their hands to him like that?
Oh what a great chapter! For a minute I thought the reason Sev had stopped talking mid-sentence like that (when he realized about the occlumency thing) was because his Dark Mark started burning or something, I was so nervous!
Awww, i'm so happy that Severus got on the bed to give Harry cuddles and let him know that he did not kill Sirius.
I really hope they become really close. Being that Harry gave him a hug, I think they have definitely turned over a new leaf!
I hope they both have a happy Christmas!!! Awww poor Sev, alone on Christmas Eve? He needs huggles and cuddles...
This was such a cute chapter! I'm glad that Sev sees how bright and determined Harry is.
