Oh, it's so sad and hearth wrenching, knowing that you only have two choices: kill or be killed.

Great work! It seems a little rushed, though because I don't think that canon Snape would be that willing to help Harry.
Either way, you've done a great job on this fic!

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the review! I'll keep the rushed thing in mind for future reference, and may possibly rewrite this if I feel up to it and have the time.

What a great first fanfic! Thanks for sharing! I particularly liked your interpretation of Snape. I could really picture him speaking that way to Harry. Good work!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I was worried about whether or not I had kept them in character or not but it seems I was worrying too much. I'm glad I managed to do Snape justice.

Awe...I like it. It seems exactly like something Harry would do, and you kept the characters in character. They needed this conversation, and you portrayed it very nicely. Awesome job.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I actually was worried about whether or not I had kept them sufficently in character. I'd been looking for a while now to see if any of the challenges clicked for an attempted first fic, and yours just struck me for some unknown reason to the point where I had to write it. Maybe Harry or Severus is inteferring for some reason. :)

Hope Harry took note of what Snape said. Congratulations on your first fic - don't stop there.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I think Harry did take note of what Snape said, but was too stubborn or, didn't want to risk getting another detention to admit that. I'll try writing again if I see anything else I think I can run with.

A very interesting story especially it being your first fanfic. I enjoyed the way you incorporated astronomy into the story. The sentences were a bit choppy in some areas and there was some unnecessary punctuation as well. But overall I enjoyed your story and I hope to read more from you.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I like Greek Mythology a lot so that's where the astronomy came from. I'll see if I can get myself a beta to help with sentence structure and punctuation in the future if I decide to write anything else, so thank you for pointing that out. Now I know what needs work. :)
