"healing for his ward"? when did that happen? I feel like there are either huge chunks of missing story or else I can't read very well.
Author's Response: Hmm. Rather much of what is happening during the course of this tale is left unshown. It's more a collection of moments, much in the same way that Harry's flashbacks are, thus my decision to write it as I have. I did strive to keep it as coherent as possible, but I do not deny that some things are implied rather than shown (ie: Snape becoming Harry's guardian). So, you didn't miss it, really, as it wasn't precisely there. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
