Reviews For Common Interests
I liked this chapter, despite all the things that went wrong. Please update again soon, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!
First, let me thank you for the line: "In the den, Severus finished his cup of coffee and made another one, before hearing a familiar rapping upon his chamber door." Having that little iteration of the line from Poe's "The Raven" tickled my fancy in a chapter dealing with so many not so happy issues. I do think that Severus' punishment was fair, because Harry didn't respond to the first warning, and escalated his disrespect and wrongdoing. It's like how I ground my daughter when she neglects to do and turn in her homework. If I discover that she lied to me about doing her homework, or about turning it in, her grounding period increases and she loses more privileges (like not being allowed to go online and read fanfic). Sev is being a good parent here. I do hope that all of the sad happenings in your RL are over with, and that you might find things improving for you. I really love this story and I'll be looking forward to the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy my latest chappie as I've finally updated.
Scrubbing fireplaces seemed a bit of a harsh punishment on top of everything else - it's hard to hold your tongue when you're young and angry. No doubt Harry will survive though! Author's Response: Yes he will. I just updated again, so hope you enjoy it.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Here is another chapter, finally.
I loved this chapter, and agree with Skull about the punishment that was given out. I suspect Quirrell, but I could be wrong. :P Eagerly awaiting the next chapter! Hugs and Love, Vanime Author's Response: Thanks so much! Here's a new chapter finally!
