This is so good. I like how everything fell together and that too a lot of work. Interesting to is the book. Such a great job with this story.
I say you can't have Snape kill her, not if he is to remain taking care of Harry and especially not in front of Harry. I think a combo of 2 and 3 would be good but before sticking her by Sirius have Snape and Sirius talk and explain things so Sirius can drive her crazy(er) before the dementors come lol...I hope your mom is ok
I reviewed on ffn and think that Harry will convince Severus to turn Marlene over for trial. On second thought, however, I think she should be given to the Society of Ravens to try. She betrayed them, stole a Society book, assaulted a member and killed a familiar. Perhaps the ravens have a punishment for traitors. Wandering the Gray Road without a guide could be a fearful punishment. I am also wondering about the revenant. Best of luck to you and your mother.

Your story is so good. Such imagination. I think #3 would be best. Harry would not understand #1 and #2 sens to easy as we know how Sirius escapes. Operation Potter search and the teohouses cooperating was so clever. Miss Kitty too.

In regards to McKinnon's fate... I'm for the trial and the Dementor's Kiss... Mainly because I don't want Sev to be accused of murder and vigilante behavior. Leaving her in Azkaban for life has the same potential problem as happened in canon when the Deatheaters attacked to free their fellows. Yet, taking her up to the castle to await the Aurors could also mean that the revenant that she's sent out could be summoned to rescue her... assuming that it won't take advantage of her situation to free itself from her... Hmmmm. If it frees itself from her, it could be a horrible thing for Hogwarts as it goes to feed itself... I can't see the students being able to protect themselves from it, and Albus, Minerva and Severus can't be everywhere all at once.... Hmmmm. I don't envy you the plot complications no matter which option that you pick for the next chapter!

Please don't make Severus kill Marlene. I hate Marlene in your story, but she's lost her family and is unhinged. Also, I don't really want to see Sev become a murderer.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she starts getting better. This chapter was fantastic. I am glad that they finally found Harry. I'm not sure about Marlene... Though Sev probably shouldn't kill her in front of Harry. I'm not sure if it would be a good thing for her to be in a cell next to Sirius either... What if she gets out?! Lol. It really doesn't matter what you do, I know it will be fabulous. Again, great job! I'll also be praying for you and your mom; I hope everything gets better soon.:)
