I must admit, I was a little shocked about his sorting. I expected Slytherin and was severely disappointed.
After reading your A/N, I have full confidence that things will be fine.
You are a great writer. If am really enjoying the fic this far. Everything that Snape told/gave Harry to prepare him for his first year at Hogwarts was brill. It's good to have an adult Slytherin on Harry's side. Things have already changed so much. Harry is so much more confident and I've always loved fics with Neville and Harry being good friends.

Ah! I love Hufflepuff!Harry stories; it suits his true nature much better than Gryffindor ^^ I really enjoyed Harry's meeting with Neville and Draco (you've portrayed both boys beautifully) and the details about the legacy spell were both poignant and believable. I liked the interactions between the Hufflepuffs and Harry and I think Pomona will be an excellent head of house to him, given her understanding of parselmagic ^^
