Brilliant chapter; I'm really curious about the accident- who was trying to kill off Neville? Peter? Draco's accident was a great plot point; it doubles his incentive to be loyal to Harry and throws a spanner in the works for Lucius- I doubt Narcissa would fall in with any scheme against Harry willingly and we've already seen (in canon) how brave she can be. Oh, and I loved the heads of house meeting; your depiction of Severus and his cunning is really well thought out.

This is a very interesting story. You can already tell what Severus experienced in his original time line won't happened the same way. Way to many things have already been changed in such a short amount of time. I'm looking forward to reading how many things will be different and what will stay the same.
Loved Harry being sorted into the 'Puffs. It actually makes the most sense considering all of the potential Harry has without alienating children from any of the other houses.
Also looking forward to see how his friendships develop. In your story, Harry has the potential to have a wide range of friends, which in canon isn't so. I don't consider the students who joined DA to be his friends. So I'm happy to see Harry begin friendships with people other than Hermione and Ron. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them (well maybe Ron just a little) but his friendship shouldn't begin and end with just those two.
