I must admit, I was a little shocked about his sorting. I expected Slytherin and was severely disappointed.
After reading your A/N, I have full confidence that things will be fine.
You are a great writer. If am really enjoying the fic this far. Everything that Snape told/gave Harry to prepare him for his first year at Hogwarts was brill. It's good to have an adult Slytherin on Harry's side. Things have already changed so much. Harry is so much more confident and I've always loved fics with Neville and Harry being good friends.

Wow!! What a chapter.
I loved the image of Dumbledore playing "Operation" to help with his motor skills. Especially since the funny bone was always my least favorite one as well.
I've been meaning to tell you for some time, thanks for keeping a sense of innocence about Albus. Some people turn his sometimes child-like attitude into a childishness, which he really wasn't.
As for Halloween, thanks for bringing all the children together. The whole evening was written quite well. I especially like reading Severus' introspection on what he had done before compared to what he can do differently this time. It seems to open up some interesting prospects.
YAY!! For Severus planning things out so well even through not knowing for sure if support would make it in time.
Of course, I'm really looking forward to reading more about why Voldie's Maxima curse was so mild. Was that indeed from his magic trying so hard to fight off the infection or was there something else in play? Hmmmmm.
