Reviews For Season of Warmth
Too bad Harry can't bring himself to trust Snape yet. But that's normal. Abused kids don't trust readily, especially adults. Can't wait to read the next part.
Off to read the next one!
Author's Response: Thanks. Harry's trust will eventually come. Just posted again and in the next chapter you should notice something about Harry's dreams. Subconsciously, he does trust Snape.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Another chapter is up now!
I love The Wise One. I hope that Harry will talk to her about things. I keep thinking that if he would only slip up and say something like "I can't tell anyone, Dumbledore says I have to go back every year!" then Sev could do something about the situation. Of course, Harry would need to talk about the details eventually, to help him heal. Unfortunately, he is only a kid still and seems to think he has only two choices: stay nothing at all or to tell every last detail. I'm sure, however that between the Ruffled Serpent and Sev, things will be sorted out. I hope your ankle gets better soon (been there, done that, have been trying to return the t-shirt ever since) and you have a Happy Christmas and New Year. Author's Response: Ah that slipup is coming in the next chapter! So keep reading! Yes, unfortunately that's how it is with a lot of abused kids, they have major trust issues (and no wonder), and tend to believe it's all or nothing. The Wise One will give Harry some good advice, however. Thanks, one of the reasons my ankle is in such bad shape is the multiple tears and sprains it has had, plus my FM does not help anything. Next chapter is up!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I have just updated!
Author's Response: Well, that all depends on whether he feels comfortable trusting Harry. He's been damaged too and doesn't trust easily either. |
