I finally had time to read this latest story of yours. All 9 chapters in one sitting. This is great. I love this take no the great snakes, all 4 of them so to speak. So many twists and turns and you weren't kidding when you said sick Harry and sick Severus. Oh my gosh, the ending of chapter 9 with the basilisk - I was truely surprised. So looking forward to the next chapter. Hope you had good holidays and Happy New Year. Hope your parents are feeling better.

Oh, WONDERFUL chapter! And yes! What a surprise ending! Well, the Basilisk may not be completely beyond saving, but I wonder how it'll deal with the knowledge that Snape isn't the real Salazar. If anyone can heal the Basilisk's mental anguish, it would have to be the Wise One. If she can't... BEWARE! And will Harry get the chance to heal Snape with the special potion??
