Wah!? Wow, that a startling shock!! So... the basilisk was not trying to eat Severus? Is Severus the heir? Wow. Great chapter! I loved it! Will Dumbledore wake up? Is he and Harry in danger of the basilisk's gaze?

Sooo... Did you infect Snape, or did he give his chest cold to you?! // Ah HA-- I suspected Dumbledore would try to throw a Muggle-wrench into the situation, insisting that Harry would have to go back to Privet Drive! And now Snape's unconscious, unable to pop out of the woodwork to keep Harry from getting into dire trouble with the Basilisk! I really liked the idea of the tapestry-- did Lily make it?-- hiding the entrance to Snape's private quarters, which could only be accessed by Parseltongue. Now, I wish both you and Snape a speedy recovery! (And a speedy melting of all of your snow! 30 inches-- MERLIN!!!)
No problem! This story is wicked and I love it.
Poor Sev, hope they can make him get well soon. But I had a feeling that was going to happen 'cause it happened to me when I didn't take car eof a cold I got right away, I ended up with pneumonia. NOT fun!

The conversation between Harry and the Wise One was cool, and Harry received a certain amount of insight into Snape as a result. However, the conversation also acted as a catalyst, causing Harry to engage in deep introspection about his personal situation as well as his relationship with Snape. Can he trust Snape to truly follow through with his promise that Harry will never have to return to the Dursleys' home? I think so-- unless they are BOTH thwarted by Dumbledore. The BATTLE was AWESOME!!! Way to GO, WISE ONE!!!
